We teach kids how take care of themselves and their environment properly and make sure they actually have the soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, detergent and sponge to do it.
Because confidence often begins with the simple things we are taught.
The Missing Lesson
Not because they don't care. Because nobody has taken the time to teach them.
Many children grow up without anyone showing them how to take care of themselves. Oftentimes, when they get to the age of bathing and caring for themselves, we teach them a couple of times and then believe that they should already know what to do, but that’s not the case. They really do not know what to do; they don’t know:
- ●How to brush properly and keep teeth healthy.
- ●How often to bathe and why it matters.
- ●Why clean clothes and sheets matter
- ●How to keep their space clean and organized.
- ●Why sometimes they still smell bad even after bathing
- ●How hygiene affects the way people treat you.
These sound like small lessons. But they help the child stay confidence and beyond very clean and confident adults a the end of the day.
